Learning how to grow sphagnum moss

Today a group of us met at Cromwell Bottom Nature Reserve to learn how to propagate Sphagnum moss, the building blocks of peat bog.

With thanks to the tuition of Gill Wrigley, we now have a team of enthusiastic growers, who we will supply with everything they need to start growing at home.
